NPSIA Professional Training and Development - Certificate in International Affairs Management (PIAM)

NPSIA Professional Training and Development is launching the pilot offering of the Certificate in International Affairs Management (PIAM) program from Tuesday February 16 to Friday February 19, 2010.
 
The PIAM is a skills focused 4-day workshop intended for new hires, global volunteers and professional interns seeking or working for the first time in an international secretariat, either in Canada or abroad.
 
 
Early registration - until Friday February 5, 2010 - is: $600 + GST = $630.00  (After Feb 5 the regular fee is $775 +GST)
The Carleton Alumni fee is: $475 + GST = $ 498.75
The Student fee is: $350 + GST = $ 367.50

Dr. Stephen Brown, an associate professor of Political Science at the University of Ottawa will explore many of the current issues facing CIDA. Dr. Brown has had years of experience in the field of international development, prior to obtaining his Ph.D from NYU he worked for the UNDP, OECD and IDRC.
